Shirley B. Short is a visionary and strategic leader in creating elevated merchandising brand platforms. As the founder of KÜR8TED, she has honed her fashion aesthete and corporate sports ingenuity into a boutique agency. Her keen affinity for modern and cultural-relevant merchandising initiatives are enriched by twenty years in the fashion and sports industries.

During her 17 year tenure at Madison Square Garden as a strategic brand merchandising executive, Shirley's innovative approach led her to broker unique partnerships with a focus on product extension and brand elevation platforms. She pioneered the inaugural NBA Knicks sport x fashion collaboration with Rocawear in 2004 and spearheaded a number of subsequent designer collaborations in the sport and culture space for Madison Square Garden owned properties.

As a disruptor this entrepreneurial initiative resulted in the fashion focused designer vertical, which became a revenue-driven fan favorite. Being astute in the brand elevation game, Shirley has postured KÜR8TED as a creative incubator to foster brand collaborations and pioneer dynamically relevant merchandising platforms. Inherently curious, along with a mantra steeped in the adage of 'don't wait for opportunity, create it, Shirley has mastered the complexity of the big picture to create detail-driven, holistic plans.
